ACA subsidy cliff - making $1k more costs me $5k in premiums?

Family of 4, income $98k. If I earn just $1,000 more ($99k), we lose all ACA subsidies and premiums jump from $250 to $1,200/month. How do I avoid this cliff? Work less?
