Power of attorney vs healthcare proxy vs living will - what documents do I need?
103
My attorney is recommending I get a package of documents: durable power of attorney, healthcare proxy, living will/advance directive. I'm 45 and healthy. Do I really need all of these? What does each one do? My spouse would make decisions automatically if I'm incapacitated anyway, right?
