Health insurance for early retirees before Medicare kicks in at 65
38
I'm planning to retire at 60, but I won't be eligible for Medicare until 65. That's a 5-year gap. What are my best options for health insurance during those years? ACA marketplace plans? How much should I budget monthly for a decent plan? My wife will be 58 at that time. Combined income in retirement will be around $80k from investments and a small pension.
