How to choose a guardian for minor children in your will
32
My wife and I are updating our wills and the hardest decision is choosing a guardian for our kids (ages 3 and 6) if we both die. Both sets of grandparents are in their 70s and we don't want to burden them. My sister is great with kids but lives across the country. My best friend is local and shares our values but isn't family. How do you make this decision? Can you name backup guardians? Should the guardian also control the inheritance money?
