What asset allocations actually beat inflation long-term without excessive risk?
28
I'm 40 with $400k in retirement accounts currently in a 60/40 stock/bond split. With inflation seemingly persistent and bond yields still uncertain, I'm worried my allocation is too conservative. What asset allocation has historically beaten inflation by 3-4% without taking on excessive volatility? Should I include REITs, commodities, or TIPS? What about international exposure?
